Fountain at Place Verlaine

This is about five minutes walk from our apartment in Paris, on the way to the Place d'Italie in the 13th arrondissment.

In the center is a fountain providing water from a spring under Paris, fed by (I believe) the Bievre River. Residence come regularly to fill containers--sometimes rather large ones (cheaper than Vittel in the supermarkets!).
