The roof is needing cleared darling
You know when the quantity of snow is larger than the actual habitation, that you are struggling, and so it is. But that is not to forget the veritable Dad's army of volunteers trying to clear underneath cars, drive ways and the like. I was frustratingly housebound today, Madame was at a wedding so I was home alone with three children. I reckoned that heading out leaving children on their own while moving large quantities of snow not the wisest plan.
So it was, more snow, more cold weather and a celebration of St Andrews Day. Watching the images on the tv and interweb, of the atmosphere of helping one another just makes you think about when one was young. I recall all our neighbours coming round to our house during power strikes as we had a fire. I have mentioned before my neighbours and how lucky we are to have them.
We even managed to get Christmas cards for the girls written, now that is what I call organisation. Back to school apparently tomorrow. Managed to get out for a couple of Laphroaigs in the evening as well, having number three as I type. Slainte Mhor
