Fluffy

A kind of bad news/good news day.

Bad news was finding out this morning that Mr B's gig was cancelled due to a couple of the singers being snowbound just outside London. Good news was spending a lovely morning near our mad option shortlisted house and loving the area. We walked along a Roman road - just a track now - which goes for miles. It is along the top of a ridge, with beautiful sweeping valleys either side, which you can see through the gaps in the oak trees lining the road.

Wonderful for a walk, if a little chilly with that east wind in our faces on the way back. Here's some fluffy stuff. Not sure what it is. I do think I found a good source for sloes though - this mad option house is beginning to tick lots of boxes....

Lunch at Carcassonne airport, then the joys of a Ryanair flight with two kids bored by everything on their iPods. Grim. The journey to west London was relatively smooth - then we were at our friends, with a glass of wine and a curry bubbling on the stove and all was well with the world again.
