Recorder virtuoso in the making

Son One's debut recorder performance in assembly this morning. They've had 5 lessons and learnt a grand total of 3 notes - something I believe Status Quo have made an entire career out of ;-) They played us 3 songs (including one they heard for the first time yesterday!) and were brilliant, really enthusiastic :-D That's an entirely objective and unbiased view btw ;-)

We were also treated to some great keyboard performances too.

Son Two was delightful - he stood on the chair next to mine, dancing and singing along, and every performer was treated to a special round of applause!

Strange sighting in the sky this afternoon here too. Big glowing thing. Seemed to give off some heat too, because the frost has started to thaw. Think I may have seen it before sometime. Can't remember what it's called though..

Shall be raising a glass of brandy and Babycham tonight to my wonderful Nanna. It's her birthday today, and 3 years to the day since she died. Miss you.
