An evening with Skin

Susan and I took Amethyst to see Skin at the O2 Academy in Newcastle as both a treat and a night out for us. Unfortunately Breeze (we deemed) was a bit too young to stand around for the few hours that we would be there so was palmed off on the grandparents.

To say that Amethyst enjoyed herself would be a major understatement, not only was she pointed out by the band on several occasions during their set, but at the end she was given one of Dicki's drumsticks, a plectrum and a hand written set list. But wait that is not all, she managed to get the drumstick signed and posed for photos with the band members, including a couple of hugs with the lead singer (blipped) Nev and was literally swept off her feet by the guitarist, Myke.

Not bad for a nine year old is it?
