These two gentlemen are very nice guys who work in the city. I have a suspicion they are actually related, but I am most likely wrong.

To speculate and create fiction, I think the man on the left is a writer or filmmaker of some kind. He has dreams to change the world with his vision. The man on the right probably loves dogs and vodka, not that I know what it's like to love vodka. He might also be a former artist of some kind who had the the adoration of many but chose to leave his art because of a mysterious calling.

The cameraman is secretly an off-world visitor who is learning about humankind.
