that trusty dock again

So glad this day is done! Work was chaos and wild. I can't even describe the happenings. People are so strange this day and age.

School seemed good for my little one today. We stopped off at a local store and picked up a couple of little Christmas village houses that light up. They are so beautiful in our living room next to the tree. He also picked out a gift for his little brother that he'll have to wrap later. :) He's so excited.

I watched the beautiful sunset go down, but I was working. We had to log out promptly at 5pm, so I zoomed down to the dock to get whatever I could.

I know a lot of people aren't too fond of HDR, but I like how this turned out. I like the grain and moodiness of it. I had to convert it to mono, because the color was so completely insane (aka. too much HDRness) It's a 30 second exposure, and the wind was blasting hard on me the whole time. I was surprised the image came out at all with all the rattling of my camera while the shutter was open.

By the time I got home, I was a bit of an ice cube. My fingers, ears and nose were screaming cold.

Let's hope tomorrow is more productive!!!
