Shark Fishing

I took my friend Tony out on the bay shark fishing today. Tony moved over from the UK just over year ago and is only now appreciating what living in Australia has to offer...especially if you like fishing.

There were juvenile sharks aplenty and some up to 3 foot. As far as I am concerned they are great sport fish because they really put up a fight. Tony was a bit apprehensive about me bringing them into the boat but I explained to him that they are really just like any other fish. Just a little stronger with bigger teeth.

It was a good morning of fishing.

Here's a piece of advice: Don't go swimming in Moreton Bay. It is full of sharks.
