Redemption?
In his blip yesterday, Longshanks reminded us of the need to feed the birds during this cold weather.
So, I've done what I'm told and have bought my first bird-feeder and some wild bird food.
Having a cat, I've not encouraged birds into the garden, although I do get a good range and to be fair, Elvis (the cat) prefers mice to birds.
Thing is, I've hung it up but now what? Do the birds magically know it contains food? Can they read the sticker on it that says "wild bird feeder"? ;-) Will it just hang there untouched 'till Spring?
I've hung it on a bush outside the lounge window in the hope of killing two birds with one stone (so to speak ;-) in that I might be able to take a couple of blips of the feeding birds. (regular viewers: don't worry, I'm not about to abandon the grim :-)
