Lost Between Worlds

They call me a "saucy" lady....

Though that may be true of my personality, it shows even more in my cooking.

For me, good food is the equivalent of good sex. So good you never want it to end.

The way I achieve that sensation with food?

I make it myself.

This is 2 gallons of marinara sauce that has been slowly cooking(from scratch) on low for about 24 hours. It will be another 24 before I am ready to turn it off.

Most will be frozen, some will be used in eggplant parm Monday night and the rest will be used to make traditional red sauce pasta...maybe I will throw some littleneck clams in with it....mmmm, ideas!

Life is good in the kitchen of this Italian pseudo-chef. Life is saucy!

It smells wonderful in here! ^_^
