its christmas, wakey wakey grumpy,
milk and biscuits and into our bed,
snuggles and a stocking,
daddy getting more excited,
look fernie, santas been,
what have we here,
a big snuggly dressing gown,
a nut brown hare DVD,
but the biggest smile,
A mickey mouse DVD
Soon its time to brave the cold and the downstairs,
walking into the lounge,
fernie grins & points,
presents under the tree,
we put her down, her legs go,
into the presents she lands,
fingers poking into the paper,
as new and wonderful delights are discovered,
I am pleased to say,
no paper passed her mouth,
no boxes licked,
all ignored in favour of the toys,
a minnie mouse bedding set from auntie lucy,
clothes from family,
a pushchair from mummy & daddy,
then its onto skype
for nana and grandad to see her open their present,
Oh fernie, look at this,
its a pink garage,
No No fernie, its not a seat...
Oh well, we will get there!
Such a lucky girlie,
soon its time for daddy too cook,
wondering were she would fit it all,
dinner and cake were soon gone,
time for a nap,
before more playtime with her new delights,
It has also been a PJ day, she loves her dressing gown!
Pleased to say bar one small accident,
xmas day has been wonderful this year,
