The classic breakfast by my Mum

Woke up in the early hours to see that it was snowing once again! By the time we eventually surfaced, the snow had stopped.

The highlight of the morning was eating mum's special! Bacon, egg and tattie scones! And some baby beetroot on the side! All with a nice cuppa. Nobody cooks a breakkie like my mum!

Late morning once we had packed up the car, we headed south. A few difficulties in places but apart from that an uneventful journey which just took a little longer than usual.

The late afternoon and evening have been spent with all the in-laws and a bit of a buffet!

Last night in another bed before getting back into our own.
