Icing on the cake

Finally got round to icing the Christmas cake today. I've been decorating the cake exactly this way for about 20 years and the little boy on the sledge belonged to my mum and was on the Christmas cake when I was a girl. He has to be placed in exactly the same spot each year - just about to go over the edge, as many people are at this time of year!!
