Happy Birthday Dad!

I'm glad that my Dad is my 150th Blip, as it his 69th birthday today.

Aside from the Manics I've only posted one other shot containing humans since I started, so I'm proud and pleased that he agreed to pose for my 150th, much better than a red balloon (or half of one!).

He's posing here with his present from my sister and I. We got him a replica model of an Austin Somerset A40, his favourite car of all time (though his was grey and called Bessie) Royal Mail being what it is, the model car arrived 3 hours before we were due to meet Dad, despite it being ordered 4 weeks ago but it made it in time and that's the important thing!

He loved the model and my sister had found a picture of him posing beside the original 'Bessie' so here he is, proudly showing off his gift and the picture of him from 1975.

We had a lovely meal and a nice celebration...
