Go Little Woodchuck Go!!!

Yesterday, I posted a blip of me working on a wand for a friend.

Yesterday I was debarking and whittling this wand for a friend into the right shape. Being very green wood, I needed to let it dry for 24 hours.

Tonight came part two, sanding down the rough points and smoothing any harsh angles.

Sanding creates the perfect smoothness for step three, staining and sealing the wood. After I stain it, I will be carving a few special runes into it for my friend.

Hopefully this will be ready for tomorrow night when I will see him.
