No Play

Passed the children's play area on my way to the paper shop this morning. Very cold (-4C) and light covering of snow may deter even the most hardy of little people. By the time I arrived home snow had began to fall and has continued most of the day so No Play Today!

This play area was upgraded last year with lots of whizzy activities and is now very popular, especially during school holidays. The council to their credit are committed to providing a skate park area in the same area for older children. The local nimbys are still grumbling, but I am pleased to say, after many meetings it will be going ahead.
