Louvre-Panoramic View

This is a stiched panoramic view from the top floor of the Sully wing of the Louvre in Paris. View it LARGE.

We're looking west, toward the famous pyramids designed by I.M. Pei to accommodate an underground entrance to the museum, and much more. Beyond is the Jardin des Tuileries, which extends to the Champs Elysées. The Eiffel Tower is visible a bit to the left.

It's still fairly early January, and there's still a thin covering of snow in parts of the city--but not here.
