Old Stuff in my Yard #5

This strange little thing used to be in our kitchen, counterbalanced on a ceiling beam. When we moved the insulators off the beam and outside, this guy went too.

The sun is out and the sky is blue but it is bitterly cold at 5 degrees F. I took a short ride to look for a sun-drenched, snowy picture but there's no room to pull off the road because of the snow, and it's too cold to walk. So weird little soldier it is for today. Where he came from, I have no idea.
