A bonus being able to drive up the road to get near enough to get to the high point of the Lammermuirs.

Just animal tracks to the summit then ski tracks coming up from the other side. So we went that way back.

Not Rancid forgot poles which made it harder for her - on blades as well. Long skis were great.

And there was a stump sitting at the bins on the doorstep - no sawing required.
