SYON PARK ZOO

Theres a rescue centre for rain forrest(ish) animals at Syon House in Isleworth in west London. We've been going there regularly for at least 10 years and its just getting better and better. Non of that petting a sheep nonsense, here you get the full on experience meeting and handling a variety of beasts from Chinchillas to scorpions, through Alligators to giant tortoises via two toed sloths.
Its highly recommended my the Ellis family and they struggling to nail the future of the project at the moment so any new visitors will help.

I had a few shots of the Chameleon in action (one of my all time favourite beasts) they are incredibly quick, the concertinaed tongue projecting up to a foot and retracting in a fraction of a second.
