Snow!

This is Maddy and her friend Delphi, who is staying th enight, celebrating the first snowfall. Unfortunately it didn't lie, but there was just enough for them to take a sledge out to the hill behind the house and get caked in mud.

In additional news to the New Year trip to Skye Dav, who went over on his ankle on Hogmanay and assumed it was a bad sprain, found out today that he had broken his tibia. This was after he had managed to get by for two days AND drive for almost six hours to get back home without complaining. Clearly made of stern stuff. I think he's quite pleased as his time off work will be prolonged by a few days on doctors orders.
