Erosion!
This is a hillside near where I live
that has been cut back by construction.
Now there seems to be a futile attempt to keep
nature from cutting it back even further.
Seems a little selfish.
We can do it, but mother-nature can't!
Oh well!
Here is the link to the original.
Not sure if I'm going to continue this practice of linking to the original for every photograph that I post. Seeing as how some of them get PS'ed quite a bit, I'm afraid that the link might take something from the final image. At least in the viewers eye/mind. I will probably do the link to the original if someone requests it, or if I think it is necessary for all to see it.
What do you think? I'd appreciate your input!
Thanks -
"Constructive Criticism Is Welcome"
By the way, I would just like to thank everybody for viewing and commenting on my photographs, all the 'constructive criticisms" have been considered and filed away in the old cranium, thanks!
Also, I'm in love! , with what I'm doing on BlipFoto. I mean digital photography and the processes that go along with it, e.g. PhotoShop. When using PS in conjunction with my camera I'm able to create the kind art that I visualize in my mind, and not be limited by the lens and what I see through it. Does that make any sense? So, I'm starting to get a feel for the direction that I want to go in my photography. Which means that my images are going to get more ahhhh......... how shall I put it? I know.......
Unnatural, otherworldly, mysterious, strange, abnormal, unusual, bizarre, quirky, outlandish, eccentric, unconventional, unorthodox, surreal, peculiar, odd, strange, freaky, offbeat, and off the wall! That about sum it up! ;o)
Anyway, you all have been great! It's hard to believe that I've only been in the Blip-Universe for just a little over a month. I feel like I belong and am part of a family, a really nice family! Also, all of your images that I look at help me a great deal in my own photographic development. I do wish that I could comment on all of your wonderful photographs. But we know that it would be an impossible task. So I try to view as many as I can in 24 hours, there is just not enough hours in the day!
THANKS AGAIN!
