20 minute rush...

The past few months I have driven on the Holes Bay road (for those who will know) and often I have wanted to stop and take a picture of the beautiful sunrise, sunset, still water, high tide, etc. Whatever it may be, this bay is 99% of the time pretty manky (if thats a word ha) as its full of rubbish and has sewage...its not nice. Annoyingly, due to the times I normally drive past, I have seen it looking really pretty but haven't been able to spare the time to take a picture as I don't have time. So time is often an issue but also the Holes Bay road is a dual carriageway, and well it's not that easy to just pull up and take a picture haha

BUT Blip has forced me to put the extra effort in :P so today I knew I would be driving home near to sunset and after such a beautiful day my blip had to have the sun in it!

Now where the "20 min rush" comes into things...well as I said you can't really park on the side of the dual carriageway ha. So I figured the train station wasn't too far from where I needed to walk to and parked in the 20 min free parking. 2 minutes down and I hadn't left the car, so a light jog over the railway bridge, across all the pelican crossing to get to the other side of the dual carriageway. Easy bit done, I now had to get to good vantage point....well I didn't get as far round the bay as I wanted, but I couldn't go any further as I only had 5 mins to get a picture before I had to run back to the car!

So it was a little adventure, but I kinda got what I wanted :S and had a little bit of fun, anyway every step you take is a mini adventure ;)
