Sweet Potato Sky

When did it come to this....?

I have a touch of germophobia. Just a tiny touch.

A while ago I was having a conversation with someone about it and they kept agreeing with my neurosis and nodding their head along with my crazy suggestions (apparantly it's not normal to wipe the kitchen surface down before putting food on it then clean it again afterwards...). At one point she said 'and of course you have to wear washing up gloves when doing the dishes because if you can put your hand in the water, it's too cold to truly clean the dishes'.

My god. A revelation. She was right!!

So ever since then I've coveted a pair of nice washing up gloves and lucky my mum knows me VERY well. For Christmas she bought me a dinner set from the Cath Kidston cherry range. Unfortunately though it was only a set of two and I wanted a full set so bought everything online except the bowls which were sold out. So my looooooooooovely mommy went into the CK store on George St yesterday and bought me not only the bowls but the tea set, the washing up gloves, the oven glove and the mixing bowl.

She's a star.

And I'm a spoiled brat with a TOUCH of germophobia. Touch.
