Well, not quite... this is Iggy. Ruairidh's canary, who was a slightly belated christmas present from us. Not so late that he (Iggy, that is not Ru) didn't have time to develop a fondness for sitting in our christmas tree.

I can't decide whether he was looking grumpy in this due to the fact that we were about to dismantle the tree or because my feeble wildlife photography skills can't even get a canary in my living room in focus.



BTW Feeling much better today, still a bit crinkly around the edges but it seems to just be a cold with a touch of gurgly tum rather than any nasty winter vomiting bugs. Thanks for all the get well messages yesterday.
