My Future is Unwritten......

There is a song I live by....a song I turn to when life takes my plans and throws it in the blender. It is Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten." Links to lyrics and music video are at the bottom.

I try, so hard, to plan my future, to have a plan. But, so very often, something happens and everything I planned is torn asunder.

Every time I have gone through a major shift in my future plans, I have done something to signify the drastic change.

I've gotten two tattoos, a piercing I later regretted and removed, cut my hair off, dyed it, basically changed my appearance to go with the latest shift.

This is a picture of my second to last change. This tattoo is representative of a song that echoes in my head when things seem to fall apart.

It is a one of a kind tattoo, hand drawn by my tattoo artist and myself. The left side of the book is the life I had planned, being torn apart, piece by piece. The right side is where my book starts over, today. The rest, is always, unwritten....
