Hare today...

Found the bedraggled body of a magnificent hare this morning.

He was lying in the stubble, massive rear legs in the air. No obvious sign of injury, so not sure how he/she died. It was in this field so I wondered if he was the one that the boys once chased.

Shame to see him like this, and wasn't sure whether to blip or not, but I thought it was better to recognise his passing than ignore it.
