Cocktails...

In childhood, we yearn to be grown-ups. In old age, we yearn to be kids. It just seems that all would be wonderful if we didn't have to celebrate our birthdays in chronological order.

I was at a cocktail party tonight...so much fun and great cocktails, apparently naked cocktail waiters are very popular in Aberdeen at the moment (who knew? not me!) ours were fully dressed and very sensible given this was an 18th birthday party. Also, enjoyed the wi dance championship (that was the adults, or the oldies as we were referred to by a rather merry chap who greeted guests with a hug, it wasn't his house or his birthday but he was very sociable). Although I don't think Beyonce was a high point for anyone...
