The World and his Dog

Went to St Andrew's West Sands today to try out my Christmas kite.

Unfortunately everyone else in the East of Scotland seemed to have the same idea (the walking on the beach bit, not flying my kite), so kite flying was curtailed.

Did get a quick flight in after much line untangling, but managed to crash (albeit gently) into a family who had stopped to watch in EXACTLY the wrong spot (right beside the "Take Care - Kite Flying Zone" flag).

Will have to learn how to fly it somewhere less popular and then go back on the 2nd of Jan next year to impress everyone.
