Papua New Guinea

This is a little wall ornament from a little foreign cafe that I go to named Hamamas Kofi Haus. I'm sure I've mentioned it before. One of the owners is from Papua New Guinea and the other is from Taiwan.

It's actually very, very finely carved into a piece of curved wood. Most of the lines are very fine and thin and the carving in general has really amazing detail. As I was staring I was wondering things like how it was made. It just peaked my interest so here it is for you.
