Studio Portrait
Had my first studio session with Estelle and 42.
Once we figured out a few issues with getting our cameras to fire the studio flashes we had a really interesting time. I think I understand the concepts of where the lights need to be and how they interact - and of course with digital you can just fire a few tests until you get the results that you want.
The hard part is thinking of what effect you want - in terms of pose, lighting and expression - once you've got that, the actual mechanics of positioning the lights and adjusting them to get the effect is reasonably straightforward.
Next time I need to go with more pre-thought-out ideas of things to try.
When choosing my blip for this evening, I was unsure whether to go for the friendly, family man image, or the master criminal.
Can you guess which I chose?
