...and Mr Cadbury's Parrot said "hello!"
Mini-eggs back in the shops. Result.
No tunnels left so I'll start doing the bicycle-paths as and when I pass them on suitably blipless days. This is the north end of the Middle Meadow Walk path for cyclists heading north or south. No-one turns right out of it as Lothian Street is one-way and no-one turns left down Lauriston Place as it would be easier to head along the path through the Meadows themselves. It happens to be only the fifth road/path after Cockburn Street, South Bridge, Chambers Street and Forrest Road along which I walked when I first visited Edinburgh as an adult.
Hardly got outside today as the floor was the first priority. Finished the first room at about half past four and scurried quickly along to the bicycle-shop sale in case they had anything worthwhile cheap. Not much there but if you're not picky about the knee-coverage of your baggy cycling shorts then there are still plenty of brown Protective "Griffith" in a range of sizes. I consoled myself by buying 800g of mini-eggs later on although they apparently "have to last me the whole week" which I am taking to mean until 4pm on Friday for the purposes of realism. It's not every day mini-eggs come back in the shops after a five-month absence...
