This blip almost never happened. It's also not got the photo I really wanted it to have.

Today I was pretty excited about going to work. Mainly as it was the day that our company shares it's new brand and visual identity with the world. Not everyone will find that inspiring, but I was interested in what it would feel like.

The day started well, then I had scheduled a short catch up with a colleague keen to figure out how could work together on a few things.

The chat was alright, but a few things weren't the best, I almost lost the rag at one point and while it didn't get out of hand, the end result wasn't positive for all concerned. If I'm honest, I was annoyed. And angry at myself for feeling annoyed. Which doesn't really help.

Over the course of the day, some more confusion, some more questions and a few answers. All in all, just a bit of an off day.

Being able to share the detail - and my feelings about it all - with Mrs theWeir always helps. She's the best. Even after 3hrs sleep.

I wanted to share a picture of a brass plaque with the new company logo, all new and resplendent. Instead, I'll share a half-hearted attempt at a picture if the logo on a brochure. It's about as good as I felt.
