WOW!!!!

A long but very nice day - collected my trophy for winner of the National Poetry Anthology 2011 and a cheque for £1000. Biggest of hugs for my son Sean his friends Fiona, Honour and Conor who brought me the most beautiful bunch of red roses - thank you Conor they just made the day. My writing mentor Anne Whitaker and friend Trish also made the day special. A lovely lunch with my better half with mucho vino so feel a bit pussycat like now as in curled up and cosy - but the blip must be done and so here it is. Never won anything before so well chuffed - hope everyone else had a blippin' nice day too!!!!
