Spring flowers

Saw these at our village farm shop today, lots of pots of primroses, all different colours. They really cheered me up, making me feel as though Spring really is on the way soon.

I bought some chicken, carrots, leeks, mushrooms and a jar of sauce to cook it all in. It was delicious, and very easy as I just put it all in the slow cooker - safest way for me to cook as I can't burn it then.

Also bought two of the primroses, a yellow one and a pink one - they've brightened the kitchen up a bit. And if I can avoid killing them off over the next few weeks, I'm going to replant them outside - think it is still a bit cold yet though.
