Bleak & White

A bit fuzzy-headed today after a late night helping bri celebrate his birthday. I won't say how old he is now ... but lets just say he's more than 21.

Ten of us had a black tie dinner on board Discovery (captain Captain Scott's ship on his first voyage to the Antarctic). We got a private tour as well as champagne and a delicious three course dinner in the Wardroom (where the officers eat each evening).

A really lovely evening.

Mrs42 and baby42 are out today so to try and exorcise my hangover I got the bike out, dusted it off (I've not ridden it for months) and took it for a 10 mile spin. The weather was all a bit grey/bleak* but not too cold. Feel much better now so indulging in some dirty lunch (Pot Noodle - shhhhh) before making some bread and collapsing on the sofa for half an hour.
