Wonton Soup
Today was an interesting day.
Took the afternoon off to go and do a food photoshoot.
As part of a promo brochure, the lass was looking for some shots to be done. Last time this came up, I couldn't make it and ~wintersixfour manfully stepped in at short notice.
Last time it was Gleneagles, this time it was Oloroso in Edinburgh. A lovely rooftop restaurant, with beautiful views of Edinburgh city and the Castle, run by top Scottish chef Tony Singh. Today, he was sporting a bright red turban and was charming.
There were three dishes today and pictured is the starter; Wonton soup.
It smelled delightful.
It was all a bit more rushed than I would have ideally have liked as the restaurant had other things on. So we got moved about a bit and had various inquiries as to when we would be finished. But it all added to the fun and excitement.
