The point.....

This is the image I was making as the world as I know it was completely turned upside down.

I had spotted these lines in out carpark at work and thought that one day they would speak to me and I would blip them. Today was the day it was flat out and I took 5 minutes out to go outside and capture them.
About 2-3 seconds after this exposure Christchurch was hit with an earthquake that measured 6.3 on the richter scale, the city is in ruins in just a few moments. The death toll is currently 106 and expected to finally reach over 300.
Mrs O and myself are fine and have left town to stay with friends for the moment, our future is totally uncertain...........
The force of the shaking was so intense that as I held on to our car to protect myself i saw an SUV in the next park that had its two back wheels completely off the ground, I just couldnt believe it.

My thoughts go out to all those that are more effected than myself, so many tragedys its unimaginable..........
