It is Tuesday

We visited the island of Tory today in glorious weather. All on a big lump of granite just off the Donegal coast. I was inspired to paint this for many reasons - the granite cliffs in the foreground, the middle horizon of the township on the island and of course the seven sisters for the back drop! The extra is the lighthouse on the west end of the island. And all to the sound of many corncrakes.
