Thoresby Hall
Visit to the Courtyard at Thoreseby Hall to pick up our birthday present (necklace) for "R Jnr" and to walk the dogs.
The Courtyard sits beside Thoresby Hall, built by the third Earl Manvers in 1860. A Victorian mansion, it has been recently renovated and is now a luxury hotel and spa open to visitors. The Courtyard and Hotel are set within several thousand acres of forest, farmland and parkland that you can explore via a series of way marked walks. The Park has been owned by the Pierrepont family since the 1600s and remains a picture of a traditional country estate.
The blip is part of Thoresby Hall Hotel which is now one of the chain of Warner Leisure Hotels.
