Pipers

Another clock, with hands this time, but a grey duvet covering the sky today.  I love the wee pipers on this clock on the Frasers building on Shandwick Place.  I think they move around the base of the clock.  Takes me back to Andy Pandy's weatherhouse characters :-)

This clock is one of of the two that I look at every morning on my way to work.  It's a couple of minutes slow so the other one is the better gauge of my timekeeping.  The other is on St Cuthberts churchtower and it's bang on time.  The clock at the other end of Princes Street on the Balmoral hotel above Waverley station is always 3 mins fast to make sure people run for their trains.
