And lo, the four wise women saw a sign ...

Had a brilliant afternoon when I met up with Belinda , Chrissie
and Dianne who was up in Manchester for the day.  We started off with lunch and cocktails at The Alchemist on Spinningfields. Afterwards, as we walked towards town, we were approached  by "Fathers For Justice" campaigner Mike Downs who, you may remember, dressed as Batman to draw attention to his cause. Upon seeing all our cameras he wondered if we might like to take his photo and launched into his tale, one, I suspect, he has told hundreds of times to any willing listener. He can now add another chapter to his story as he had just appeared in court on a drink-driving charge. 
Later, a very familiar looking blonde woman pleaded with us for
 "money for drugs" but we didn't believe her - we thought she would probably spend it on cake.
The afternoon went all too quickly and we parted with the promise that we'd meet up again sometime soon.
