Horse Shoe Bend

 Leaving Page, on the way to Bryce Canyon, we stopped at Horseshoe bend on the Colorado river. The clouds were beginning to build at this point, but we were still afforded a dry clear spell to shoot in.

After Hotshot bend, we headed up (via the dam on Lake Powell) to Bryce Canyon. The rain started soon after lunch and stayed with us most of the afternoon and evening, and well into the night.

One of our party commented on how dry the river was going up to Bryce, and it certainly was rather low.
