On the Cobb, Lyme Regis

There was clear evidence at Lyme Regis today of the storm which battered the south coast yesterday. The Cobb was covered in sand and large pebbles from the Chesil.
But the sun was out - hooray! 
I heard Alan Carr reviewing 'The French Lieutenant's Woman' by John Fowles this week on Radio 4 and it made me want to read it again as it's years since I did so. I can never walk on the Cobb without thinking of the iconic shot in the film.
