Christmas present

M's present to S this year was a voucher entitling him to a bushwalk, a rock ramble and a visit to a maze. So today he took the bush walk option and we visited Pt Henry. It has a boardwalk which once was surrounded by wetland but with the demise of the Alcoa aluminium smelter which provided water, funding and staff it's looking a little overgrown and unloved. The walk around the point on the beach was nice though. It will be interesting to see what becomes of this area over the next decade as the industrial complex is dismantled.
