walking on sunshine

woke up extremely bright and breezy considering the late night. felt fine too, and after breakfast picked mum up to go shopping.

weather was ok, with the promise of a little afternoon sunshine. but before i made the most of that, i went to do a huge shop at sainos, as want to do lots of cooking tomorrow, and also start prep for christmas.

shopping done, and then off to enjoy the sunshine and start my little photo project for 2013. went off around Kimberley and Eastwood, taking various pics. had a lovely walk in the sunshine, across the fields leading to Greasley Church. can't wait to do this once i've got my dog, but defo need to invest in a good pair of wellies, as i got stuck in some mud in my walking boots!! had to abort mission of going into a field and then take a detour! took this photo of the autumn leaves outside Greasley Church.

a great afternoon walking, and then off home. out again tonight, on a tram crawl from Hucknall to Nottingham. first time, and i'd not really checked whether any of the pubs on route were still open!! From Hucknall, we found one pub, The Lion, which was open and had a great atmosphere, and a live band, which we missed as we left for town as they were about to come on.

into notts, for a few more drinks, and then chippy before i got the bus back at midnight. the bus was packed coming back to Eastwood, and i got in about 1am again. two lates nights on the trot! early to bed tomorrow!
