King Protea

These king protea used to bloom at Christmas, and they became a sign to us of sunshine and all the lovely things that Christmas brings to these areas, but they have been blooming earlier and earlier over the last few years. So many changes in gardens with climate change.

Unfortunately this one is far from perfect, with the honeyeaters picking at it over the past week. It has been fully out for about a week already.
