RV Hunt
There are those moments in life where you see something going one way.. and it goes in the exact opposite directions. For Juaquin and I, it was the Tiny House.
The concept itself is fun, and might have worked if 1) I didn't find out I was pregnant only several weeks after we purchased it. 2) I did not have severe back pain flares from the pregnancy. 3) everything was exactly to our expectations. Unfortunately, climbing up to the loft with my big ole belly just isn't a realistic option, nor is trying to fit a baby in a space made for two.
Thankfully, my mother suggested an RV. When we arrived the Explore USA Super Center, they said it was going to take an hour to have someone help us. Somehow, we ended up talking to the manager, and he handed over his master key and told us just not to fall.
It was captivating exploring the different layouts. They were charming and fancy. Not at all what I expected!
We settled on a 5th wheel layout that has two rooms. The "bunk" room was adorable, and it took no time to imagine it as Emmanuel and Ella's hang out. After exploring on our own for about an hour, we went to find someone who could show us additional ones that had this same layout. At this time, a salesman was able to go out with us. It was dumbfounding at how much we missed in even the units we had already viewed! Nearly everything turned into a bed; the table, the couch, and that couch. We also discovered some of them had nifty outdoor kitchens.
We planned to go back with my mom and dad later. Hopefully, the upcoming Saturday. Since this is a temporary living condition, we eventually want it to become our vacation vehicle.
After walking around in the hot sun, we were starving! It took us nearly no time to decide on Golden Corral. The sweet potatoes are now my new craving!
