Stranded!!

This poor swan was stuck on the ice. He couldn't get enough purchase on the surface to reach the unfrozen section of the pond.

A fellow passer-by had called for help but the RSPCA were unavailable to attend.

I was beginning to worry but he managed to belly flop along and made it to his friends. He looked rather relieved to make it!!
