Rounding off

Busy morning shopping, cooking and packing up/changing beds etc as S&S decided to come back to share NYE with us and so I moved into Mt&H’s for the last couple of nights here,
We cooked various salads, slow roast shoulder of lamb, a chicken, yvechi and various starters and nibbles.
We started fairly early, thinking we might go and see the new Mary Poppins film later, but in fact by the time we’d eaten, chatted through and after the dinner, and opened several bottles of prosecco (not to mention the snowballs...we’ve quite got into those nostalgic drinks this holiday!) there was no chance we were going anywhere! AR and Mx both on good form, with Mx taking a couple of steps on his own and very concentratedly building towers of bricks, and AR racing around and playing on the tall bar stool.
We watched/played the Big Fat Quiz of the year, then watched the midnight fireworks before I headed for bed. That’s 2018 done then....hold onto your hats for 2019!
